yeah probably. To do a unit alert all you'd have to do is just write a jmp or call to your own code when a unit is created and check what type it is with these values. And to create it you could probably call the function to give a building a que to build/train something. You'd just have to find those functions.

Note, you guys can patch (it triggers the CreateUnit function)

While ECX holds the PlayerSlot, EDX holds the UnitClassId.

The whole function looks like this

You can call it like this, if you like to create your own units
