i believe this video speaks millions of times better then anything i could possibly type. Please just take 10 mins of your life and educate yourself about events about you that you may or may not know.

If this is real, that would really be fu**ed up. I don't understand why people can't leave the internet the WAY it is. If everything is fine and the people are happy, why renovate it?

This has truly been overdone where I just sigh every time I witness the word's censorship and internet used in the same sentence. I have a excellent article on this written two years ago which even resembled current issues which I should dig up but ultimately this whole ordeal is best left for the higher up's. I believe nothing in a sense should be censored but remember, internet law is probably the newest area of law, so give it time, the whole banning, removal, rubbish will sort itself out.

The cool thing about the internet 2 is the fiber optic cables which will make the internet 10,000 times faster than it currently is. As far as the censorship of the internet . . . I don't know and we will see. That would be completely messed up if it goes down like the way the video portrayed it. I don't think very many people would stand for it.

But hey it might get my butt of the computer . . . then I might loose weight . . . hmmmmm . . . . :D

the internet should outside juristiction. outside law, and control by any government. the internet should be a free community of individuals.

should i find the internet restricted in such a fashion, i would start a new internet, not joking. i would seriously start up a new internet for individuals, and free from restrictions. i would dedicate the rest of my life for somthing like that, and gladly. id do it now, but the internet is still free, or free enough that id get noone to join up. of course theres the possibility id have to take it underground to keep from getting sued for this or that.

for those of you who read otherland by tad williams this would be like treehouse, that idea in that book was epic.

That's like saying you can put your thumb on a bookstore's pulse and saying you control the entire entity just by feeling the pulse.

We saw what happened to Jack Thompson and his 'video game crusade'. Made me laugh, probably did the same to some of you. This will blow over and people will forget about it until it boils to the surface again, just like gas prices do.

The difference between your bookstore analogy and this is that the companies that own the servers and lines that make up the internet got together and decided to do this, so yeah they control the internet entirely and can do what they want with it.
