It wasn't mere association. I'm an economist and can run you through what ill-fated pre-emptive attempts at "increasing liquidity" have consistently done in our economy when used during securities losses as well as lending crises. But that kind of education wasn't free for me so to type out all 500 pages I'd need at a minimum to thoroughly cover the technicals I guess I'd ask for at least 200$.

In lieu of that, suffice it to say this bailout was tried before under EXTREMELY similar circumstances and the cause and effect relationships were very similar then as well as now.

Why is it in America, we seem to be turning more towards socialism which we were trying to combat in the 80's against Russia? But we only get the ****ty parts of socialism... Taxes. At least in Sweeden, you get free health care, you go to college, hell they do their laundry for you.

The money for this bailout is just ridiculous. Its been statistically shown, for two fifths of this cost, we could provide health care for everyone in America. Something we're constantly told is just not feasible by our budget. Along with health care, that same two fifths would also pay to repave EVERY road in America, and fix EVERY bridge. Yet we spend it on saving corporate banking? Its down right bordering criminal to the American people in my opinion.

we have the lowest taxes on the planet pretty much, i personally dont want free healthcare because i dont want to pay the high taxes which would be required.

less government plz.

also, medicare ftl, i feel bad for everyone without healthcare(ill soon have none either) but you have to take care of yourself. im sure theres how to tutorials on everything from colds to brain surgery anyway.

stupid economy, if only we would elect someone with experiance in dealing with something even close to finances/economy/anything but exploiting money from citizens

But your willing to spend it on private banking? Like I said, the latter option is cheaper, and more useful to the American life. I don't agree with paying for other peoples health care, but choosing between they're debt, and health care, of course I'm going to go with health care.

What nobody realizes, is either way we will pay more taxes, why not pay them to things that everyone can use, instead of benefited a few select peoples wallets? You also complain that we need to elect someone with experience in these matters? That's simple, elect an economist, not a politician. Politicians is how we ended up spending 140$ Billion more on that bill, then the original 700$ Billion, which was still a number just pulled out of their ass.

Tucker, what about medicare?

So, if I am reading this correctly, you meant to say "I am an expert in this field, its too complex for you, and I can't sum up the answer in less than 500 pages. Instead, I'll just claim I am right because of similarities and my use of arbitrary numbers."

Being right isn't everything.

America may be the "Leader" of world, but America is always last in social change at home. Abolition of slavery, women's suffrage. Europe is a good place to live I guess. (not Eastern Europe)

I agree, but in a much lesser damage manner. What the problem is now, is fear.
