Common B.Net Misconceptions

1. Mineral hacks are not possible. I will not discuss the technical reasons why, but they are not.
2. When every other player in the game drops, the chances are pretty good that you are really the one who dropped.
3. Being the host in game gives you no special privelidges in hacking.
4. The crash hack and drop hack are two different things.

5. Before you learn a programming language, learn the english language.

6. Never bug a hack creator to give you a hack. Asking once is bad enough, do not beg.

7. If a hack is private, its private for a reason. You will not recieve a private hack by asking. The only thing you will do by asking for a private hack is look like a ****ing idiot.

Those aren't misconceptions, BloodyBlade, those are facts.
Let's see...

1) Hacking is not a skill, it's an attitude (quoth TheTempest)
2) Programming hacks is not like simple debugging or ArtMoney. It takes real practice and real skill, and you can't just type code without any practice and know what to do (unless, of course you are using VB )

8. Channel bans are cdkey based, unless banned by a moderation bot, whereby the ban is based on IP.
9. Lobby bans, on the other hand, are based only upon the name you use when you enter, thus a simple name spoof will allow you to rejoin.
10. "Enemy self unally" and other such bull**** hacks don't exist, much for the same reason mineral hacks and the like don't.
11. There is no way to prevent yourself from desyncing in game when attempting such things.

12. Editing a sick amount of offsets from the DS of SC with a Memory Editor should not be considered as hacking.

Wrong. Channel bans without using a moderation bot are not IP based, that's why you can use another chat bot to rejoin the channel. ;)

Please. If this is the attitude that you "hackers" need to have to be considered as such, then I guess I'm proud to be something other than a hacker.

Wrong again! Some people have to learn somewhere, there is no reason to knock lesser hackers. If some guy just randomly plopped in an unconditional jump somewhere, and I rewrote an entire routine while both hacks did the same thing, does that make his any less of a hack?

Instead of misconceptions why dont u state your policies? Its clearly obvious that bwhacks doesnt distribute private hacks (only among staff members) so why dont u make a license agreement stating this and other points before logging in? Just sharing some thoughts.

This thread was made to clear up a lot of misconceptions that are all too common, such as the recent newb who thought he'd made a drop hack when every other player in the game dropped.

What you fail to see is the point of my quote. The point is that you cannot be a hacker without thinking as one, it's not a skill you just pick up and run with. Sure you can learn how to program, sure you can learn how to debug. Sure you can learn how games work, and it is even possible to learn how to put it all together to reverse engineer something. But, you see, you missed the point entierly, it's that you can have all of these "skills", but lack the creative attitude that opens ones mind to new unforseen possibilites, you will never take those skills and amount them to their true potiental.

Yes, of course you have to start somewhere. A very simple use of ones brain can duduce this principal. However, again you missed the point. The point is not to state that you have to enter this arena knowing everything. Infact, most of the graciously offered tutorials, by which no one recieves any monetary compensation for, are cast to the audience of people who are just entering this "hacking" scene. The point was simple, it takes practice to get good at taking all the skills that one possesses and applying them towards a higher escalon.

Now, i will grant you that yes, KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) is just as valid as any other method of approach, but i do not interpet his thought as saying that any less complicated idea is hereby less "worthy" of praise or stature.

Someone recently stated that you have to start somewhere. I just started on the hacking scene and I act nothing like the retards who say that they made a crash hack or "minnraLz hak".

Im learning to program C++ and messing with ArtMoney for now. I am just going to live and learn; eventually being good at what im trying to achieve. Which would be creating an original hack, or something as simple as my own special hack that I made for myself.

I have just entered the hacking "scene" and do not look like a complete idiot. Alot of others do. Just because "you have to start somewhere" doesn't make it ok to be an idiot.

Did I "knock" lesser hackers? No. All I said was that REAL hacking is not accomplished with ArtMoney, as many people seem to think. That was my point. You can't make good hack solely from offsets. Please find a solid basis (or read my post, and the forum topic MISCONCEPTIONS) before you insult me again. Thank you.
