Obviously it's because ever since I portforwarded 7777 because my router was blocking that port, I was able to host. Based on experience and firewall logging.

then they are only forwarding port 6112 UDP you need both the UDP and TCP protocols. UDP is just so you can play without lagging. TCP is so you can host.

I would suggest disabling the forwarding on port 7777 because it's been known to be a gateway for worms.

Yes I did. Before portforwarding 7777, I couldn't host, but after portforwarding, I could host. The log of the Router Firewall even said "... from 7777 blocked" when I was hosting a Diablo 2 RPG v4 game which was rather famous at that time of the day.
