Freeze your computer

Update: Now works on dual core CPUs as well.
Run it, and your computer will freeze. Doesn't even require Admin privs.

Someone with less-than-moral intents can copy the executable over several exe's in the /system32/ folder, and then run it to freeze the system before windows can replace the files with backups.

Freeze as in stops running processes, or freeze as in constant 100% CPU usage?

Freeze as in your mouse/keyboard/everything else stop working because your CPU is at 100%. Why don't you just try it? There is no permanent damage.

Its heuristic. It apparently automatically flags the file as a virus merely because it won't run on Windows 95 computers because of the crazy linker settings I used.

So, this isn't something i would get in trouble for at school because its spreading to all the computers in the district right? (because my flash drive is being investigated right now...) they think it might be me. and this "virus" is making me think that too. (None of the computers I ran it on are windows 95.)

Dude, I can't believe you actually did that. I can't say what will happen to you, but I suggest you hope to god they don't sue you for damages, especially since they could get away with suing you for the price of every computer you infected.

Well, I haven't done anything to the school computers yet, and the damage probably won't be very severe, and by the looks of it, I'll be too lazy to ever actually do it anyway.
