Thinkpad-like Power Manager?
To get straight to the point - has anyone seen any power-manager/battery charge monitor like the one that is pre-installed on Thinkpads? It's one of the most accurate battery monitors, and it provides a very visible battery icon.

I use acer epowering technology, came pre-installed and works really well. Can control a lot of your laptop's components with it. From speed to hd shut off

Unfortunately, I don't have an Acer, I have an Averatec, so I'm out of luck there. But thanks for the input anyway. Any other tools that anyone's heard of?
