vcloak - Vista Impersonation
This program launches another application, making it think it is running under Vista by changing the version information to 6.0 in the other process's user space. This may help you make stubborn apps run on XP that are convinced they must be run on Vista. Then again, it may not.
To use, drag and drop the application you are trying to launch onto the EXE and then it will be launched. You can also type in to a command prompt: vcloak <application name> To achieve the same effect. |
