Heres how I jacked my sisters account.
1. Log into my account 2. Download PWDUMP2 and JOHN THE RIPPER 3. Place the main directorys in my C drive 4. Run the command line and type "cd C:\pwdump2" 5. type "pwdump2 > passwords.txt" 6. place the passwords.txt file in the john the ripper directory. 7. drag the text file on top of john-386.exe 8. watch as the programs makes out the passwords. please note this just works for me. i have no idea about u guys. |

Well first off, that net user command will NOT work on a Guest account or limited use account. Any admin can change another accounts password.
Now if you really want to get full admin while on a guest account, restart XP in safe mode. You'll then see a hidden account which you can log on with full admin abilities, allowing you to create your own admin account, and then do this command line. I've 100% confirmed this since I used to do it constantly at school to get around their stupid locks by creating my own account ![]()

I remember once there was a trick to gain admin access on limited accounts, something to do with time.
Edit: Found it. http://alieneyes.wordpress.com/2006/...nt-in-windows/

When you setup windows it makes the default account an admin... but when you start up safemode it shows an admin that isnt usally there. you must have deleted it somehow because IT IS there.
