If you fizzle ur your BIOS, that's your own damn fault!!
Ok well not so much to add more RAM, but allow the on board video to use more of it. I'm still rocking my 4 year-old Dell Dimension 3000. WoW use to run on average 15fps. After a little tweaking, I can get on average 23fps in the world and 60+fps in buildings, with all the video settings set in the middle. wtf are we doing? Changing the settings in the BIOS to tell the mobo to let the video chip set use more RAM. wtf do I need? Atleast 1gb of RAM. I wouldn't recommend doing this on a computer with less than 1gb, but you can always try it and let us know =) wtf do I do? Restart your computer. When the BIOS is booting press the key (computer specific) to open the BIOS settings menu. Mine happens to be F12, then selecting 'Settings'. When we get in to the BIOS settings screen, use the up and down arrows and highlight 'Memory'. When the new menu pops up, select 'AGP Aperture'. Use the right arrow and turn it all the way up. I say all the way up because I was always told it wouldn't go past 128mb, but mine went to 256mb. 512mb might be pushing it, but you can always change it back if you want to experiment a little. Thats it, press the ESC key and make sure to select the 'Save'. |

That motherboard has the proper chipset and spot for an AGP slot, it just isn't there, you could theoretically solder one on and use it, but good luck with that.
