Use gmail to aggregate torrents.

THIS IS A MUST! Everyone should know this. It helps greatly in keeping you updated on stuff. Many sites have a RSS feed. Basically what that is, is something that keeps you updated on when the site gets an update or something changes. This is a great way to keep up on the latest and greatest torrents. Instead of going through all those stupid torrent search sites. BLAH...

Anyways, go here. Put in an rss feed link, put in your email. Then go to gmail>filters>create new>from email "*@r-mail.org" then create a new label, skip inbox, and apply it.

RSSFWD - RSS Straight into your email inbox. A service by Blue Sky Factory.

This is the site that the first link is pointing to, it's a thread on a dead forum. Basically, you throw in a URL and a email address and it forwards feeds to your GMail. You use GMail to filter a site...say a...torrent site.

Then you can use GMail to filter, with sexy keywords and all your operators through hundreds of torrent sites and get easy tracker links. That's what I do. Having 30+ trackers for every torrent, you'll cap your DL speed on any public tracker.

This is pretty damn nifty because most trackers have ****ty search capabilities when it comes to names. You'll see a lot of torrents with "." instead of a space inbetween every word, making them usually unsearchable. Pisses me the **** off. **** them. Go Google.

Also, do the RSS feeds only contain newly uploaded torrents or what?
This sounds really helpful, some more info would be nice =).

Probably just something really simple like it checks the RSS feeds once in a while and when there is a new item in it it sends you an email.

It's basically a sending that site's RSS feed links to your GMail. That's it. Whatever is in that sites RSS, will be in your GMail. I think GMail's at like 6gb of storage, maybe more. That's like 500k messages. I've been using this for a few years now and I still haven't gone over 10% O_o
