Technically yea, but nowadays webmasters don't really count subdomains as "real domains." Go to DNForums or Namepros and try to sell a uni.cc... you'll most likely be laughed at.

"Most likely" because there are some free domains that can actually have some high value. For example, "Sex.uni.cc" could probably be sold for some amount of money (even though it's against the TOS).
