For the guys that understand what this image shows, you will be surprised how well proxy's manage to make money. Take a look at the CTR% (click through rate) and the page impression differences. ZuneBoards should be making 40 times more money than my rather small proxy network.
This is an example of how hard it is to make money off of forums (dt can testify to this as well). Just to let you know, I advertised my proxy network to a forum ONCE, which was about 4 months ago. Honestly, I don't know where the hits are returning from... I'm planning on advertising the proxy network some more, and see how well that goes. Also, I'm preparing my entertainment network, which you can expect to be fully launched in 1-2 months.![]() CTR means Click Through Rate, so the X% of the visitors click on the ads. eCPM means how much money is made per 1,000 page views. edit: Oh, and not everyone gets instant success for proxies... I just got lucky. Vash on the other hand, is getting owned by Arab traffic that pays little. ![]()
