I got about 300$ before I stopped supporting Google Adsense.

It's not the worst, but it's not the best for money

Best bet for money is probably affiliate marketing.

Well Google Adsense is probably where I could get started, and maybe affliate marketing down the road. I've made a playlist on youtube for some interesting google adsense success stories, like the guy who started plentyoffish.com and got million dollar cheque's: YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
But obviously you need a ton of traffic and the content on your site has to interest the consumer along with the ads being relevant to the content etc. Looks like it's worth a try. I need to get into some hardcore web development tutorials though.. I already know only basic HTML and CSS looks interesting. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You probably won't even get a constant one dollar a day in your first couple of months unless you have a good idea.
