...you buy domains, with plans of developing them, but never actually do so? I have probably lost hundreds of dollars from useless domains I've bought over the past 2 years.

Yup. I own plenty of domains that I never really ended up using. Some of them I'm just hanging on to for legal purposes, so that someone else can't grab them before whatever it is is finished. (i.e. www.undivine.com)

No. If I have plans to develop them, and actually do so, I consider it a good thing.
