Section staff application

Looking into BWH history, our section staffs have contributed lots of things which makes new hobbies and knowledge possible.

For example, Iversonali3(who is now a moderator) have contributed to "Help and technical". His wisdom improves our knowledge in handling problems. Phantoma makes comics available and gamepin introduced many different things to us oftenly.

I personally don't see any difference if there are 100 more admins or mods, but if there are a few more qualified section staffs, it makes a difference. Don't you agree?

We have hacking staff and graphics staff. Let's think of a new category to expand the list. For example, Programming staff (organise programming tutorials), Game testing staff (give reviews and info), Animation Staff (create fun movies base on the games they play). There are many opportunites.

Apply here if you think you qualify. Only talk about yourself, do not nominate or flame anyone, this thread is created for you. There is no need to rush.

The only section I could be of any use is the "Starcraft Gaming" section.

I have been playing this game since 2001, and 95% of that time has been legit gaming, I joined bwhacks because hacking just adds "new features" to the game. And I really suck with hacks, I get too distracted.

So ive been gaming from 2001, playing non-money maps, playing from fun to serious to semi-serious. Ive played on all the major ladders. I would call myself "good" in some respect.

I would like to give something back to BWHacks, as its been brilliant fun. Also my first forum. If I was to be staff of the Starcraft Gaming forum, I could upload a ton of replays, keep everything on topic and clean, create interesting threads for people to discuss, strategies etc. All written by me, not copy + pasted. (except some replays of course).

Ive also been an admin/moderator of vBulletin boards loads. Thank you keenan.

Ive been playing since 98' back in the 56k day's, Ive beaten every ums maps, whenever I play a ums map, im always in first on the score board, I only play non money maps, I have yet to lose on a money map played about 20x just dont see the fun in it, I mostly play lost temple, get some heated knee twitching adrenaline rush matches on that map

I dont want to be section staff, just wanted to brag about how much of a loser I am and the amount of time wasted on starcraft.

If you ever see a guy constantly swearing and calling people idiots, 9/10x its me, Ive been playing starcraft sooooooo long ive become totally anal when playing ums maps, I litterally write an online strategy guide for each map everytime I play, even before the game starts im telling people what to do.

I'd like to/could be section staff of Newcomers or Help and Technical.

I'm incredibly active on the forums, so it would be incredibly easy for me to welcome new memebers and help them out on the forums. I have plenty of time on my hands to do stuff with the forums and make up little events for people to do. I'm fairly educated in computers, and could offer my assistance in computers to anyone that needs help with anything hardware related. (Fairly decent in some software programs.) I might not have been around very long, but I'm darn active and I have pretty good english skills.

I'm polite most of the time, and I have the ability to be patient in situations that need explaining. I'd just like to help this forum as much as I can ! Thank you for your consideration.

Edit: I suppose I'm also good with first person shooter gaming, and Starcraft gaming. I've been playing SC for about seven or eight years. I've been playing HL since way back in the day as well, before they even had net access. (WAYYYY before steam).

Aka, I thought you made it clear that Programming had no need for a new mod in your opinion? At any rate, if noone wants that job I'll take it. And, I wont go into 2-3 paragraphs making my case. The proof is in the pudding, as they say.

I can do game reviews. I have every system, and I've yet to encounter a pc game my computer can't run. Also my friends and I regularaly (sp?) rent a bunch of games and play for hours just to see what we like then we buy what we want the next day. I'm not an idiot so I do use correct grammer. Or at least as I see it. And I'm on bwhacks every day unless I have something important to do. I also understand different components of games and consider myself a good enough gamer to get a decent length into the game for a proper review. It's up to you guys. I've been a member of bwhacks for quite a while so most of you know me. Oh and I forgot. Me and one of my former friends hosted a gaming site, not forum based but with reviews, previews, and the regular stuff that goes with it.

Edit: I also would not only review games of my choosing, but take requests for people so they don't have to spend money renting/buying the game. I would also post a trailer for every game I review.

I would like to be on the staff for the help & technical section.

I frequently contribute useful and more importantly helpful advise and suggestions in the section thus far. I am always helping someone with I problem if one might arise. I have very good a background in computer hardware and lots of software as well.

As far as relationships with others, I would say that I am a very understanding person. I am open to most questions or suggestions and take them all into consideration, no matter how silly they might seem. I believe that everyone no matter age, sex, race, anything should always be treated with respect and understanding.

In short I know that I am a good candidate for this position, and if chosen I will get Bush out of office within the next 2 weeks.

I'd like to be a Movie section moderator. I think this would be a good idea because I am usually one of the first to see new movies, which allows me to review them and give my opinion on them before people make a choice on whether or not to see the movie.
